Society for promotion of Philately
B - 130/D , North Nazimabad, Karachi-74700 , Pakistan
This is regarding revival of Philately which is observed to be shrinking as more people are relying on Internet , emails and text messaging these days and postal mails seem
vanishing from our letter boxes.
The less is the number of post cards and letters with beautiful stamps affixed, the lesser is the chance for a young to run into collecting these .
With the intention to promote the hobby of stamps collecting among among young , the
Society for promotion of Philately has been established.
We here at Society have printed
several hundred album pages ( the usual graph paper
background) and made albums of 10 pages each.
Usually 50 to 75 stamps are hinged pasted on
the first two pages and the album is gifted to the brilliant ones by the School Principal.
For this cause , we request you to
please send your surplus worthless stamps in large
quantities, so that many young Students may be given a chance to
develop the hobby of stamp collecting.
Surplus and worthless stamps are usually held with any seasoned philatelist We look
forward to receive your gift.
We urge all to express their sentiments through letters and post cards.
